Vorpal is immune to the caustic effects of her own venom. The pheromones released by the chemical reaction are another story, however.
When stimulated, her venom sac becomes engorged, pushing the dire needle from its sheath. Once exposed, the stinger is highly sensitive, especially around the bulb and tip. It can’t be retracted until all of the venom has been expressed.
Though her loyalty to Grizelda is unquestioned, Vorpal is easily distracted by a monstrous libido. If she forgets the mission at hand, she could be busy for a while…
